Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy in Regular Script by Sun Wen was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in July 2020. The price achieved of HKD 38,125.00 (€ 4,177.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sun Wen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy in April last year with an auction result of HKD 4,536,000.00 (€ 548,435.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy in Regular Script von Sun Wen kam im Juli 2020 bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 38.125,00 (€ 4.177,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sun Wen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.536.000,00 (€ 548.435,42).
