Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2013 Phillips in New York held the auction Under the Influence, which included the work Irrigation Plots by Suling Wang. Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,750.00 (€ 6,464.72). Admittedly, works by Suling Wang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Converging Plateaus in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 37,500.00 (€ 31,517.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2013 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Under the Influence durch, in der auch die Arbeit Irrigation Plots von Suling Wang zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 8.750,00 (€ 6.464,72) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Suling Wang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Converging Plateaus im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 31.517,90).
