The work Calligraphy in Cursive Script by Sui Mingyong was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2014. It achieved a price of HKD 93,750.00 (€ 8,866.39), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 56%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sui Mingyong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphic Couplet, which sold at auction in November 2017 for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 20,187.22).

Die Arbeit Calligraphy in Cursive Script von Sui Mingyong kam im Mai 2014 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 93.750,00 (€ 8.866,39) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56%. Für andere Arbeiten von Sui Mingyong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphic Couplet beobachtet, die im November 2017 für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 20.187,22) versteigert wurde.
