Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sugimura Jihei (act. ca. 1681-97) by Sugimura Jihei was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2008. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 6,327.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sugimura Jihei have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Unknown in September 2002 with an auction result of USD 35,850.00 (€ 36,289.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sugimura Jihei (act. ca. 1681-97) von Sugimura Jihei kam im März 2008 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 6.327,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sugimura Jihei auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Unknown im September 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 35.850,00 (€ 36.289,10).
