In July 2011 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Nelly the Elephant: Two works by Sue Coe. The result of USD 4,000.00 (€ 2,789.79) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by Sue Coe have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2007 the work 2nd Degree As Ault W/ Deadly Weapon (Triptyque), 1978 was auctioned for EUR 3,718.00.

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 4.000,00 (€ 2.789,79) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Sue Coe konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2007 die Arbeit 2nd Degree As Ault W/ Deadly Weapon (Triptyque), 1978 für EUR 3.718,00 versteigert.
