A top price for Sue Arrowsmith - as previously expected
The work Draper by Sue Arrowsmith was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2011. The price achieved of GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,521.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Draper is the most expensive artwork by Sue Arrowsmith that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Draper von Sue Arrowsmith kam im Juni 2011 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.521,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Draper das teuerste Kunstwerk von Sue Arrowsmith, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
