Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2006 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Untitled 1996 by Sue Arrowsmith. The price achieved of GBP 384.00 (€ 560.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sue Arrowsmith - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Draper, which sold at auction in June 2011 for GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,521.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled 1996 von Sue Arrowsmith zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 384,00 (€ 560,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Sue Arrowsmith mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Draper beobachtet, die im Juni 2011 für GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.521,18) versteigert wurde.
