Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled 1994 by Sue Arrowsmith was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2006. The price achieved of GBP 384.00 (€ 560.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sue Arrowsmith - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Draper, which sold at auction in June 2011 for GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,521.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled 1994 von Sue Arrowsmith kam im Mai 2006 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 384,00 (€ 560,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Sue Arrowsmith mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Draper beobachtet, die im Juni 2011 für GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.521,18) versteigert wurde.
