Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Subodh Gupta was sold in the 20th c. & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session auction at Phillips in New York in July 2020. It achieved a price of USD 52,500.00 (€ 44,589.77), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Subodh Gupta achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in October 2008 with an auction result of HKD 12,980,000.00 (€ 1,320,312.25).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Subodh Gupta wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion 20th c. & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 44.589,77) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Subodh Gupta erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 12.980.000,00 (€ 1.320.312,25).
