Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy Couplet in Running Script by Su Renshan was sold in the Fine Modern Chinese Paintings auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2007. The price achieved of HKD 24,000.00 (€ 2,285.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Su Renshan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 112,500.00 (€ 100,106.78).
