Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year POLY held the auction Collections of paintings preserved by overseas collectors III, which included the work Seven-Character Calligraphic Couplet In Official Script by Su Renshan. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 3,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 3,600.00 (€ 422.44) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Su Renshan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 112,500.00 (€ 100,106.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte POLY die Auktion Collections of paintings preserved by overseas collectors III durch, in der auch die Arbeit Seven-Character Calligraphic Couplet In Official Script von Su Renshan zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 3.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 3.600,00 (€ 422,44) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Su Renshan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 112.500,00 (€ 100.106,78).
