Artwork auctioned at four times the upper estimate price
The work (i) 1.30pm Study (ii) 30th Birthday self portrait by Stuart Pearson Wright was worth EUR 3,000.00 to a buyer in September 2012. This price was achieved in the auction Property of the Scheringa Museum of Realist Art at Christies in Amsterdam and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 700.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Stuart Pearson Wright have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tisbury Court 1999, A Tragicomedy in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 26,274.96).

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Property of the Scheringa Museum of Realist Art bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 700,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Stuart Pearson Wright auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tisbury Court 1999, A Tragicomedy im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 26.274,96).
