This artwork by Stuart Pearson Wright achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2012. In the Property of the Scheringa Museum of Realist Art auction, the work 1.30pm. sold for EUR 11,250.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Stuart Pearson Wright - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tisbury Court 1999, A Tragicomedy, which sold at auction in June 2011 for GBP 23,750.00 (€ 26,274.96).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Stuart Pearson Wright erzielte im September 2012 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Property of the Scheringa Museum of Realist Art wurde die Arbeit 1.30pm. für EUR 11.250,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Stuart Pearson Wright mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tisbury Court 1999, A Tragicomedy beobachtet, die im Juni 2011 für GBP 23.750,00 (€ 26.274,96) versteigert wurde.
