A top price for Stow Wengenroth - as previously expected
The work Grand Central (Stuckey 183) by Stow Wengenroth was sold in the Prints auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2007. The price achieved of USD 5,625.00 (€ 3,829.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Grand Central (Stuckey 183) is the most expensive artwork by Stow Wengenroth that we have observed at auctions so far.
