In the The Political Cartoon Collection of Jeffrey Archer auction, the work 'Mr Churchill’S Entrance Into The House Previous To The Election Of The Speaker (Singing For He’S A Jolly Good Fellow)' sold for GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,700.30) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Steven Spurrier; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot The Flunkeys sold at auction in July 2004 with the realized price of GBP 4,541.00 (€ 6,862.45).
