Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work 2007-18 by Steven Black for GBP 750.00 (€ 835.57). This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Steven Black have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 2007.19 in June 2018 with an auction result of EUR 6,875.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit 2007-18 von Steven Black für GBP 750,00 (€ 835,57) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Steven Black auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 2007.19 im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.875,00.
