The work Untitled, W86 by Steve Wheeler was sold in the American Art auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2018. The »bidding war« ended at USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,043.83), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Steve Wheeler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled, W22 (Man Looking at Pork Chop) in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 109,000.00 (€ 70,051.41).
