In the The Year of the Rabbit: The Playboy Collection auction, the work Lauren Hill, February Playmate of the Month, 2001 sold for USD 5,000.00 (€ 3,768.18) - well above the upper estimate of USD 2,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Stephen Wayda; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Shauna Sand, May Playmate of the Month, 1996 sold at auction in December 2010 with the realized price of USD 5,250.00 (€ 3,956.59).
