It achieved a price of GBP 3,187.50 (€ 3,514.74), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 59%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Stephen Mangan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Green Flag, which sold at auction in April 2008 for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,764.65).

Die Arbeit The Sunworshippers von Stephen Mangan kam im September 2020 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.187,50 (€ 3.514,74) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 59%. Für andere Arbeiten von Stephen Mangan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Green Flag beobachtet, die im April 2008 für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.764,65) versteigert wurde.
