This artwork by Stellan Mörner achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2018. In the Rolf Schmitz Collection H056 auction, the work Houses in moonlight sold for SEK 20,000.00 (€ 1,929.05) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Stellan Mörner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Surrealistiskt sällskap in October 2009 with an auction result of SEK 200,000.00 (€ 19,220.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Stellan Mörner erzielte im Oktober 2018 bei Bukowski in Stockholm einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Rolf Schmitz Collection H056 wurde die Arbeit Houses in moonlight für SEK 20.000,00 (€ 1.929,05) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 10.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Stellan Mörner auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Surrealistiskt sällskap im Oktober 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 200.000,00 (€ 19.220,60).
