Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Uncle Sam by Stelio Diamantopoulos was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Online Sale auction at Bonhams in December last year. The price achieved of GBP 1,785.00 (€ 2,015.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Stelio Diamantopoulos have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lenin 2 in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 9,450.00 (€ 11,101.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Uncle Sam von Stelio Diamantopoulos wurde im Dezember letzten Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Online Sale bei Bonhams versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.785,00 (€ 2.015,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Stelio Diamantopoulos auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lenin 2 im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.450,00 (€ 11.101,32).
