Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Stelio Diamantopoulos could be acquired at Bonhams in London in December this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art Online Sale auction, the work A Whole New World changed hands for GBP 64.00 (€ 73.73) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stelio Diamantopoulos achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lenin 2 in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 9,450.00 (€ 11,101.32).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Stelio Diamantopoulos konnte im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online Sale wechselte die Arbeit A Whole New World für GBP 64,00 (€ 73,73) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 1.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Stelio Diamantopoulos erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lenin 2 im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.450,00 (€ 11.101,32).
