Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Stanley William Hayter could be acquired at Bonhams in London in April 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Prints and Multiples auction, the work Rue de La Villette, from 'Paysages Urbains' (Black & Moorhead 35); Untitled changed hands for GBP 357.00 (€ 410.65) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stanley William Hayter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spring in March 2016 with an auction result of USD 115,000.00 (€ 100,965.76).
