Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Winter, Longmountain, Shropshire; And A Preliminary Pencil Sketch by Stanley Roy Badmin was sold in the TWENTIETH CENTURY BRITISH ART auction at Christies in London in November 2005. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 5,040.00 (€ 7,404.40). Admittedly, works by Stanley Roy Badmin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Four Seasons in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 34,100.00 (€ 46,336.12).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Winter, Longmountain, Shropshire; And A Preliminary Pencil Sketch von Stanley Roy Badmin wurde im November 2005 in der Auktion TWENTIETH CENTURY BRITISH ART bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 5.040,00 (€ 7.404,40) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Stanley Roy Badmin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Four Seasons im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 34.100,00 (€ 46.336,12).
