Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Stanislas Lepri was sold in the María Félix: La Doña auction at Christies in New York in July 2007. Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 3,360.00 (€ 2,450.59). Admittedly, works by Stanislas Lepri have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work L'homme au visage craquelé in May last year with an auction result of GBP 20,160.00 (€ 23,716.32).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Stanislas Lepri wurde im Juli 2007 in der Auktion María Félix: La Doña bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 3.360,00 (€ 2.450,59) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Stanislas Lepri auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit L'homme au visage craquelé im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.160,00 (€ 23.716,32).
