Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Champagne and playing cards by Stanhope Alexander Forbes was auctioned at Bonhams in London in July this year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,536.00 (€ 1,792.05). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stanhope Alexander Forbes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Quarry Team in July 2018 with an auction result of GBP 237,500.00 (€ 266,289.72).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Champagne and playing cards von Stanhope Alexander Forbes kam im Juli diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.536,00 (€ 1.792,05) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Stanhope Alexander Forbes erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Quarry Team im Juli 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 237.500,00 (€ 266.289,72).
