In the 20th Century British & Irish Art auction, the work Somerset Landscape, near Applehayes sold for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 32,103.43) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Spencer Frederick Gore have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sunset, Letchworth, With Man And Dog in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 149,000.00 (€ 210,088.13).
