Auction result well in line with expectations

Lowry auction at Christies in London in November 2011. It changed hands for a price of GBP 73,250.00 (€ 85,511.87) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Spencer Frederick Gore - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sunset, Letchworth, With Man And Dog, which sold at auction in June 2015 for GBP 149,000.00 (€ 210,088.13).

Lowry bei Christies in London versteigert.
