Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2010 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work A Ballet At The Alhambra by Spencer Frederick Gore. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 115,250.00 (€ 133,689.65), 15% above the upper estimate. Other works by Spencer Frederick Gore have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 149,000.00 (€ 210,088.13) in June 2015 for the work Sunset, Letchworth, With Man And Dog.
