The work Youth in La Jolla by Sophie von Hellermann was sold in the Phillips x Artsy: Summer School 2018 auction at Phillips in an online auction in July 2018. The auction ended at the price of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,271.31), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sophie von Hellermann have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in December last year with an auction result of GBP 16,380.00 (€ 18,491.42).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Youth in La Jolla von Sophie von Hellermann wurde im Juli 2018 in der Auktion Phillips x Artsy: Summer School 2018 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.271,31) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sophie von Hellermann auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Dezember letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.380,00 (€ 18.491,42).
