The work Untitled (White Rabbit) by Sophie von Hellermann was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in London in November 2017. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,837.87), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Sophie von Hellermann have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in December last year with an auction result of GBP 16,380.00 (€ 18,491.42).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (White Rabbit) von Sophie von Hellermann wurde im November 2017 in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.837,87) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sophie von Hellermann auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Dezember letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.380,00 (€ 18.491,42).
