Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December last year Koller held the auction PostWar & Contemporary, which included the work Ladyhare with Minotaur through a window. 1999. by Sophie Ryder. The »bidding war« ended at CHF 16,160.00 (€ 16,345.80), 15% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Sophie Ryder have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lady-Hare with Dog 216 cm. (85 in.) high in November last year with an auction result of GBP 94,800.00 (€ 109,851.55).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Koller die Auktion PostWar & Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ladyhare with Minotaur through a window. 1999. von Sophie Ryder zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von CHF 16.160,00 (€ 16.345,80) und damit 15% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sophie Ryder auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lady-Hare with Dog 216 cm. (85 in.) high im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 94.800,00 (€ 109.851,55).
