Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Blue Hare with Sunflower 169 cm. (66 1/2 in.) high (including mosaic base) by Sophie Ryder was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November this year. The price achieved of GBP 12,800.00 (€ 14,832.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sophie Ryder have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lady-Hare with Dog 216 cm. (85 in.) high in November last year with an auction result of GBP 94,800.00 (€ 109,851.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Blue Hare with Sunflower 169 cm. (66 1/2 in.) high (including mosaic base) von Sophie Ryder kam im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.800,00 (€ 14.832,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sophie Ryder auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lady-Hare with Dog 216 cm. (85 in.) high im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 94.800,00 (€ 109.851,55).
