Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July last year Bonhams in New York held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Online, which included the work Ladyhare With Dog by Sophie Ryder. Here, the upper estimate of USD 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 2,040.00 (€ 1,999.61). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sophie Ryder achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lady-Hare with Dog 216 cm. (85 in.) high in November last year with an auction result of GBP 94,800.00 (€ 109,851.55).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ladyhare With Dog von Sophie Ryder zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 2.040,00 (€ 1.999,61) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sophie Ryder erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lady-Hare with Dog 216 cm. (85 in.) high im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 94.800,00 (€ 109.851,55).
