Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Fait -- Fact. Paris: Hazan, 1992. by Sophie Ristelhueber was sold in the Photobooks auction at Christies in London in May 2009. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 875.00 (€ 1,000.99). Admittedly, works by Sophie Ristelhueber have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work West Bank No. 48, 2005? in June 2018 with an auction result of CHF 8,125.00 (€ 7,012.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Fait -- Fact. Paris: Hazan, 1992. von Sophie Ristelhueber wurde im Mai 2009 in der Auktion Photobooks bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 875,00 (€ 1.000,99) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sophie Ristelhueber auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit West Bank No. 48, 2005? im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 8.125,00 (€ 7.012,40).
