In December this year Bruun Rasmussen held the auction CoBrA, which included the work Untitled (also known as “Orant”), c by Sonja Ferlov Mancoba. The »bidding war« ended at DKK 60,000.00 (€ 8,049.18), 50% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Sonja Ferlov Mancoba; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot The Four Continents with Masks, c sold at auction in December this year with the realized price of DKK 100,000.00 (€ 13,415.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Bruun Rasmussen die Auktion CoBrA durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (also known as “Orant”), c von Sonja Ferlov Mancoba zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von DKK 60.000,00 (€ 8.049,18) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Sonja Ferlov Mancoba; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit The Four Continents with Masks, c im Dezember diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von DKK 100.000,00 (€ 13.415,30).
