This artwork by Sonja Ferlov Mancoba achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bruun Rasmussen in December this year. In the CoBrA auction, the work Untitled (also known as “Group of People”), late 1970s sold for DKK 90,000.00 (€ 12,073.77) - well above the upper estimate of DKK 50,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Sonja Ferlov Mancoba; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot The Four Continents with Masks, c sold at auction in December this year with the realized price of DKK 100,000.00 (€ 13,415.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 80 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sonja Ferlov Mancoba erzielte im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion CoBrA wurde die Arbeit Untitled (also known as “Group of People”), late 1970s für DKK 90.000,00 (€ 12.073,77) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von DKK 50.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Sonja Ferlov Mancoba; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit The Four Continents with Masks, c im Dezember diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von DKK 100.000,00 (€ 13.415,30).
