A top price for Sonja Braas - as previously expected
In May 2012 Phillips in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work Forces #8 by Sonja Braas. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,787.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Forces #8 is the most expensive artwork by Sonja Braas that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Mai 2012 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Forces #8 von Sonja Braas zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.787,23) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Forces #8 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Sonja Braas, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
