In September 2019 Artcurial in Paris held the auction More, which included the work Boys Are Down - 2011 by Sonic. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,040.00 49% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Sonic have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Midnight Magic - 2011 in February 2015 with an auction result of EUR 10,140.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 49 % übertroffen
Im September 2019 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion More durch, in der auch die Arbeit Boys Are Down - 2011 von Sonic zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.040,00 und damit 49% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sonic auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Midnight Magic - 2011 im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.140,00.
