The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,820.00 52% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Sonic have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Midnight Magic - 2011 in February 2015 with an auction result of EUR 10,140.00.

Die Arbeit Sans Titre (From Black Book) - 1981 von Sonic wurde im Juli 2021 in der Auktion Urban & Pop Contemporary bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.820,00 und damit 52% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sonic auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Midnight Magic - 2011 im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.140,00.
