Auction result well in line with expectations
In December last year Artcurial held the auction Urban & Pop Contemporary Online, which included the work Sonic on Boom Box - 2019 by Sonic. It changed hands for a price of EUR 787.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sonic achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Midnight Magic - 2011 in February 2015 with an auction result of EUR 10,140.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Artcurial die Auktion Urban & Pop Contemporary Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sonic on Boom Box - 2019 von Sonic zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 787,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sonic erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Midnight Magic - 2011 im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.140,00.
