This artwork by Song Yuming achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2012. In the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction, the work Village at Sunrise sold for HKD 375,000.00 (€ 39,065.03) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 200,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Song Yuming - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Panoramic View Of Hong Kong, which sold at auction in July last year for HKD 1,020,000.00 (€ 127,275.04).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Song Yuming erzielte im Mai 2012 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings wurde die Arbeit Village at Sunrise für HKD 375.000,00 (€ 39.065,03) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 200.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Song Yuming mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Panoramic View Of Hong Kong beobachtet, die im Juli letzten Jahres für HKD 1.020.000,00 (€ 127.275,04) versteigert wurde.
