In November 2012 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work Living in the Mountain by Song Yuming. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 620,000.00 (€ 61,475.79), 55% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Song Yuming - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Panoramic View Of Hong Kong, which sold at auction in July last year for HKD 1,020,000.00 (€ 127,275.04).

Im November 2012 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Living in the Mountain von Song Yuming zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 620.000,00 (€ 61.475,79) und damit 55% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Song Yuming mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Panoramic View Of Hong Kong beobachtet, die im Juli letzten Jahres für HKD 1.020.000,00 (€ 127.275,04) versteigert wurde.
