In November 2013 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work Living In The Mountains by Song Yuming. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 525,000.00 (€ 49,775.83), 31% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Song Yuming - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Panoramic View Of Hong Kong, which sold at auction in July last year for HKD 1,020,000.00 (€ 127,275.04).

Im November 2013 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Living In The Mountains von Song Yuming zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 525.000,00 (€ 49.775,83) und damit 31% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Song Yuming mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Panoramic View Of Hong Kong beobachtet, die im Juli letzten Jahres für HKD 1.020.000,00 (€ 127.275,04) versteigert wurde.
