Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Song Yuming achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2011. In the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction, the work Living in the Mountain sold for HKD 118,750.00 (€ 10,622.74) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 55,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Song Yuming achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Panoramic View Of Hong Kong in July last year with an auction result of HKD 1,020,000.00 (€ 127,275.04).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Song Yuming erzielte im Mai 2011 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings wurde die Arbeit Living in the Mountain für HKD 118.750,00 (€ 10.622,74) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 55.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Song Yuming erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Panoramic View Of Hong Kong im Juli letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.020.000,00 (€ 127.275,04).
