The work Fishing Boat in Return by Song Xu was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2012. The result of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 15,626.01) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Song Xu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Scholar under Locust in June 2015 with an auction result of HKD 2,440,000.00 (€ 282,194.73).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Fishing Boat in Return von Song Xu kam im Mai 2012 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 15.626,01) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 200.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Song Xu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Scholar under Locust im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.440.000,00 (€ 282.194,73).
