Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sunrise In The Mt. Zhong by Song Wenzhi was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at POLY in October last year. The price achieved of HKD 38,400.00 (€ 4,920.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 25,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Song Wenzhi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work River in October 2018 with an auction result of HKD 2,478,000.00 (€ 279,026.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sunrise In The Mt. Zhong von Song Wenzhi wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei POLY versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 38.400,00 (€ 4.920,80) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 25.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Song Wenzhi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit River im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.478.000,00 (€ 279.026,47).
