In May 2013 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included the work Feelings by Soedibio. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 62,500.00 (€ 6,198.03), 56% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Soedibio; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Gunungan (The Tree of Life) sold at auction in May 2012 with the realized price of HKD 106,250.00 (€ 11,068.42).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 56 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2013 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Feelings von Soedibio zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 6.198,03) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Soedibio; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Gunungan (The Tree of Life) im Mai 2012 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 106.250,00 (€ 11.068,42).
