In the Photographs auction, the work 'Poolside Gossip', 1970 sold for GBP 15,120.00 (€ 16,789.47) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Slim Aarons - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Poolside Gossip, 1970, which sold at auction in April last year for USD 40,320.00 (€ 38,265.16).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Slim Aarons erzielte im Oktober 2020 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Photographs wurde die Arbeit 'Poolside Gossip', 1970 für GBP 15.120,00 (€ 16.789,47) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Slim Aarons mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Poolside Gossip, 1970 beobachtet, die im April letzten Jahres für USD 40.320,00 (€ 38.265,16) versteigert wurde.
