Auction result well in line with expectations
The work At Logan by William MacTaggart was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2021. The price achieved of GBP 2,268.00 (€ 2,662.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William MacTaggart achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Gauldrons, Machrihanish in October 2005 with an auction result of GBP 26,400.00 (€ 38,932.02).

Die Arbeit At Logan von William MacTaggart kam im November 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.268,00 (€ 2.662,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von William MacTaggart erzielen.
